We’re hiring

Build your career while building Africa’s digital future

You won’t find a job listing here with 47 requirements and a year of experience for an internship. We look for people who are curious, willing to do real work, and serious about learning. The rest we can teach.

What you’re signing up for

Real work on real infrastructure. Training that makes you employable anywhere. A team that tells you what’s actually happening, not what looks good.

Why Kaevor

Most internships teach you how to make coffee. Not ours.

We’re a small, lean team doing work that matters across Cameroon and Africa. If you join us, you’ll be touching production systems, working with real clients, and shipping things that people actually use — from week one.

Real work from day one

No coffee runs, no filing. You’ll be on real projects — cloud deployments, client websites, social media campaigns, content pipelines, or community programs — with full context on why it matters.

Training baked in

You get access to Kaevor Academy courses and mentorship from the team while you work. We build your portfolio and your CV at the same time. Most of our alumni go on to land real jobs or build their own thing.

Built for Cameroon first

We work bilingually — French and English — and design everything for the African context. You’ll learn how international best practices actually translate to our local market, which is a skill very few people have.

How it works

Three ways in

We’re not a traditional employer. Pick the track that fits your situation right now.

Internships

Duration: 3–6 months, part-time or full-time.

You’ll work on a dedicated project track — cloud, DevOps, web development, SEO, or digital marketing — with weekly check-ins, structured mentorship, and a deliverable you can show. Certificates and references provided on completion.

Best for: Final-year students, recent graduates, career changers who want proof of skill.

Volunteering

Duration: Flexible, minimum 4 weeks.

Contribute to training delivery, community facilitation, documentation, or translation. No technical experience required — just reliability, good communication, and a willingness to show up consistently.

Best for: People who want experience with a fast-moving team and believe in the mission, even if they’re not ready for a technical role yet.

Project roles

Duration: 4–12 weeks per cycle, contract basis.

Short, focused delivery cycles on specific client work or internal products. You’ll be embedded in a sprint with clear scope, deadlines, and direct feedback. Paid for qualifying roles. Remote-friendly.

Best for: Freelancers, experienced practitioners, or anyone who wants to contribute specific skills without a long commitment.

Open Community Part-time

Community Facilitator

You’ll be the connective tissue between Kaevor and the people we train and support. That means running workshops, keeping participants on track, sending follow-ups, and making sure nobody gets lost between sessions. Communication and organisation matter more than technical skill here — though we’ll build your technical knowledge as you go.

Open Cloud & DevOps Contract

Cloud & DevOps Contributor

You’ll work directly on production infrastructure — deploying applications, building CI/CD pipelines, writing automation scripts, and helping clients run reliable systems. This is not a tutorial environment. You’ll be working on real infrastructure for real clients and learning faster because of it. AWS and Linux experience preferred, but we’ll develop the rest with you.

Open Operations Remote-friendly

Partnership & Operations Support

We run multiple service lines, client relationships, and internal programs simultaneously — and we need someone who can keep all of it moving without things slipping through. This role is about systems, tracking, and communication. You’ll work directly with the founder on coordinating partners, following up on deliverables, and improving how we operate internally. If you like bringing order to complexity, this is the role.

The process

What happens after you apply

We keep it short. No 5-round interview loops. No unpaid tests that take 12 hours.

1. Short message

Tell us which role, one or two things you’ve done, and what you want to build or learn. No CV required to start — just a genuine message.

2. A quick call

We’ll hop on a 20–30 minute call to make sure we understand each other. We’ll tell you what the work actually looks like. You can ask anything.

3. Small test task

One focused task, scoped to under 2 hours. We pay for anything that we use. You’ll see exactly the kind of work involved before you commit.

4. Welcome in

We agree on scope, timing, and expectations. You get access to our systems, the team, and the work. We move fast from here.

Don’t see your exact role?

Send your profile anyway. We occasionally open roles in SEO, social media, software development, and AI tooling. If your timing doesn’t align with current openings, we’ll keep you in mind for the next cycle. You can also join our community while you wait.
