Free keyword research: find what your customers are searching

Keyword research means discovering the real phrases people type when they want what you offer, then using those exact words in your content. You can do it free: use search suggestions, the "people also ask" and "related searches" boxes, and simple logic about what a buyer would type. Write for the buyer's words, not your own jargon, and you get found.

Most businesses write about themselves in their own words. Customers search in their words. Keyword research closes that gap — it tells you the exact phrases people type, so you can use them and be found. And it is free.

Free ways to find keywords

  • Start typing your service into a search box and read the auto-suggestions — those are real searches
  • Scroll to "people also ask" and "related searches" at the bottom of results
  • Ask your customers how they describe what you do — their words are your keywords
  • Think in buyer intent: "price", "near me", "how to", "best" signal someone ready to act

Pick words you can actually win

Huge general words ("marketing", "cloud") are crowded. Specific phrases ("social media manager for restaurants in Douala") have fewer searches but far less competition and far more intent. Win the specific ones first.

Use the words naturally

Put your chosen phrases in your page titles, headings and opening lines — written naturally, for humans. Stuffing keywords unnaturally hurts you. Clear, useful content that uses real search words is what ranks.

For us: We research the exact phrases your customers search and build your pages and posts around them — so your content works for search, not just for show.
